This book tells a lot of things about butterflies.  I had a monarch once and had already read a lot about butterflies but I learned some new things in this book.  It talks about moths too.

I liked the close-up pictures.  My favorite one was where is shows a picture of the butterfly’s antennae and then a picture of the moth’s antennae.  It is easy to see in the close-up picture how they are different.

I also liked the picture of the butterfly’s eye.  They have lots of eyes all in one and can see in all directions at the same time.  That would be cool to be able to do that!

Some parts of this book seemed to be too long but I liked most of “Butterflies.”
