Cayden:

“This book is about Ratchet.  He is a cool yellow Transformer who changes from an emergency vehicle into an autobot.  He has to go and save his friends Bumblebee and Sideswipe because some Decepticons are after them.  I liked to read this book.  I had a little bit of trouble with some of the words but after we went through it once I could pretty much read it on my own the next time.  My favorite part was the page with Optimus Prime!”

Parent’s comments:

My son has recently become interested in Transformers so I knew he would enjoy this book.  It is an “I Can Read!” Level 2 book which is geared toward developing readers.  Some of the words were a little difficult for my son in the beginning but once he had a little help he did fine reading it by himself.  We recommend “Transformers: Ratchet to the Rescue” to any young boy who enjoys playing with Transformers.  It is neat to see the toys that you have come to life in a book!
