This book is the first story in the “Ghoul Catchers” series.  The story is about a group of neopets that decide to dabble in dark magic.  The neopets turn into ghouls.  As ghouls, they go around stealing other neopet’s life forces.  To stop them, Professor Vinsjin, a teacher, writer, and ghoul catcher creates a spell and sends them to another world.

Two neopets named Sarn and Liva go into the haunted woods and find a ghost.  The ghost tells them that the ghouls escaped with a book of spells and they must stop them.  Sarn, Liva, and the ghost set out to stop the ghouls.  Will they accomplish their mission?  Read this book and find out.  “Neopets: Ghoul Catchers: The Creeping Danger” by Vivian LaRue is an adventure you do not want to miss.
